To cultivate more skilled craftsmen and women for the great nation and to strengthen the mission and responsibility of vocational education in the new era, on November 28, 2024, the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department invited Mr. Jin Guoping, a national labor model and the leading figure of the National Skill Master Studio, to share his insights on "The Practice and Enlightenment of the Spirit of Craftsmanship in the New Era." The lecture was held in the conference hall on the 4th floor of the college library, with active participation from the faculty and students of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, creating a lively atmosphere.
At the beginning of the lecture, Master Jin Guoping first introduced his personal growth journey and his honors and achievements. From being an ordinary electrical inspector to becoming a national-level skill master, he has interpreted the true spirit of craftsmanship through his own actions. Taking his work insights at Baosteel as an example, it is precisely because he has always adhered to the belief that "only through accumulation can one achieve a breakthrough, and only through repeated tempering can one become steel," continuously learning and researching, that he has ultimately earned unanimous trust and respect with his sense of responsibility and commitment.
Master Jin Guoping shared his experiences and insights in technological innovation and problem-solving at the meeting.
