October 9th, 2023, Professor Barbara Haller from FHGR came to the Hongkou Campus to give the first onsite lecture after three years to the second-year students of Sino-Swiss Joint program.
Before Professor Haller started the class, all the teachers of Sino-Swiss program held a meeting on "the responsibilities of teaching assistants for all English courses in the Department of Management". The meeting aims to help students grasp the teaching content of foreign teachers more accurately and promote students to interact with foreign teachers more actively. New requirements for teaching assistant duties were put forward to make full preparation for Professor Haller's coming to the university to teach.
At 8 a.m., Professor Haller came to the classroom to get ready for class. The students also entered the classroom early and gave Professor Haller a warm welcome with cordial greetings, active interaction and full of spirit. Professor Haller taught the course "Intercultural Competence " in English, which was detailed and persuasive.
The Sino-Swiss Joint program has entered its tenth year. Professor Haller came to Shanghai to restart the onsite teaching, bringing new vitality to the cooperation between SUES and FHGR.
